Broken Down!
If you’ve been following my tweets you’ll know I broke down on the M6 early this morning. I ran out of petrol! I wasn’t happy and I was quite annoyed their is not a single service station on the A14! I was heading up to Stafford to collect my iPhone after having a break with friends in Great Yarmouth! It had been a awesome little break which was spent drinking ice cold beer in the evening and enjoying the little sun we had during the day. However the £135 recovery fee today didn’t end the break well.

This Week
Just a quick post. I have pre-ordered the new iPhone which will arrive next Friday. The contract is a little steep at 24 months but I think it was worth it. I rang Orange to continue to use my mobile number that I got with my first mobile nearly 6-7 years ago now! I was sort of annoyed that Orange was prepared to give me a phone comparable to the iPhone for free on a £15 a month contract.. just to keep me on, why can’t they offer that to new customers?
On other note I saw Russell Howard live again this week. He was very funny and I believe it was his extended tour dates as he had some new material. I have to admit not as funny as last time but worth going to see!
Also it is nice to hear the British engine manufacturer Cosworth is supplying the 3 new teams to F1 for 2010 including a new British team.
New Look
I was going to wait till the imminent release of WP 2.8 but I found myself wondering the realms of the internet and wound up activating the new look for this weblog. What do we think?
Talking of things being released; The new iPhone named “iPhone 3G S”, the S meaning speed has been announcement as it deemed to be released in to the wild very soon on the 19th June! I think I may find myself outside an O2 store very soon.
Update: Appears Wp 2.8 is being released tomorrow!
FlightControl
Over the past week I have been hooked on a very cheap (0.59p) and simple game on the Apple AppStore for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Flightcontrol! A simple application in which you have to land planes on a landing strip, with each one landed you get a point! My high score has been hovering around 97 as the game is over once two planes cross paths and hit each other but today just before my first exam I thought I’d have another bash and managed to reach the high score of 207.
Its a bit slow moving at the start but with a few planes it becomes very challenging and defiantly worth the 59p.
I hear that the new iPhone will be released shortly, not sure if it true however rumours are for it to be around June I am told. Good news as my current phone contract ends at the start of July!! So I’ll hopefully have my hands on an iPhone within the near future.
WordPress App
Just a post to show off the WordPress app I have just downloaded on my iPod Touch, fancy eh? I’m rather impressed now I can post to my blog from anywhere with a wi-fi connection. I am starting to think I need an iPhone….?
