I hate the rain!
I had a little bump in the Astra today. A very common accident. I was coming back from the Showground heading on to a roundabout the car in front looked as if he was going straight in, but didn’t he stopped. He said he was but I think it wasn’t very confident with his new car. I didn’t stop in time however, I blame the rain.
Not much damage done to the other car, a 55 Focus just a small hole where a bolt had come out of mine and punched a hole but there is a bit more damage to mine. A bolt sticking out the front, love to know where that came from and a crack behind the number plate and the bumper seems to be sitting at an angle so I think the reinforcer behind the bumper is bent as well.
Great timing really, loan soon so I’m thinking that will pay for my damages but waiting on a quote from the other driver.
I suppose it could have been worse.
On the bright side Uni starts soon and I’ll be a welcome week rep for the freshers week, Training for it starts on monday so going back to Stafford sunday night!
Needs a clean?
Two weeks of festivals, 6 days parked in fields, I’m thinking I need to wash my car.
Car Insurance Paid
Paid a total of £815 for another year of car insurance today for the Astra so back on third party fire. The insurance is with Chris Knott and means I can get the Astra lowered as it will be declared when the insurance kicks in!
I’d recommend Chris Knott to anyone. When getting the quote and paying for it the service I got was excellent, I hope to never have to deal with them again to my next renewal but if I do I’m sure the service will be great. Unlike Direct Line who took 6 months to change the locks on the Zafira.
Car Insurance
Its been a while again hasn’t it, 8-9 months I think? erm..
Well in those 9 months I’ve got a new car. An Astra 1.6 16v SXi had it since May after the Saxo was getting too costly to repair.
Anyway my Astra, just got the renewal quote for it, £900 which is fully comp and £50 more than my last renewal on third party. Expecting it to me more however as I am going to declare some modifications one of which is having the car lowered 40mm so I’m expecting it to more more around £1200 
Student Loan,I can’t wait!
